SLYDIGS

Slydigs are a Rock & Roll four piece from the North West of England that pride themselves on bringing a fierce modern edge to a classic Rock n Roll sound, earning them an ever growing loyal fan base from across the globe.
The band are set to release their highly anticipated EP ‘How Animal Are You?’ in April 2017 to coincide with a UK and European headline tour starting in May 2017 in Manchester (See full tour dates below).
‘How Animal Are You’ is an accumulation of songs written at an extraordinary time in the bands career which in recent years has seen them catapulted from the daily grind of working class life in their hometown of Warrington to touring the world with the likes of The Who.
This exhilarating time for Slydigs has inspired a collection of songs that give you an insight into the true fire & grit that resides at the very heart of the band. The disillusionment of modern day life coupled with the utter determination to make a real change is perfectly depicted in this 6 track EP’
Slydigs consist of four school friends, Dean, Louis, Peter & Ben that grew up together in the industrial wastelands that exist between the cities of Manchester & Liverpool. For them, forming a rock n roll band was the perfect way to express their shared obsession with music and escape their pre ordained futures in the factories and building sites of the Northwest suburbs.
In recent years that aim has started to become a reality. 2016 saw Slydigs embark on a 19 date North American & European Arena tour supporting The Who, earning themselves rave reviews and standing ovations at every single show, not to mention a loyal and interactive global fan base. The band also performed at Kendal Calling, Toured UK & Europe with
Californian Rhythm & Blues band Vintage Trouble and played a flourish of headline dates in Germany building to a climax at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn Festival.
