Los Angeles based band, Light FM is pleased to announce the official Dutch release of their fifth full-length album “Voices In My Head” on the “This Could Be Your Music Label". This is the band’s first “official” exposure to the European market.

Led by singer /guitarist Josiah Mazzaschi, the band’s sound is a Where’s Waldo style sonic miasma of influences. From the guitar-bludgeoning wall of sound devotees, My Bloody Valentine and the Jesus & Mary Chain to hook heavy, emo-wave pioneers like New Order and Gary Numan the sound is modern with a rock solid base to blast off from.

The band has punched their time cards playing support for such national acts as The Smashing Pumpkins, The National, The Neighborhood, Deap Vally, Ra Ra Riot, Jesus and Mary Chain and more.

While Hollywood pays Light FM regularly with placements in films such as “The Vow,” “Shrek 4,” “Get a Job,” and “The Wedding Chapel”, They can always phone in placements for shows like “How I Met Your Mother,” “Dollhouse,” “One Tree Hill,” “Gossip Girl,” etc.

Light FM’s live line up is an estrogen heavy affair featuring Alexa

Brinkschulte on drums, Jacquie Parsons on keyboards/backing vocals, and Nicki Nevlin on bass. The band will be touring Europe in the spring of 2015 and are trying to broaden their fan base overseas.
