Fire at Will are a 5 piece hard rock band formed in 2010, and based in Auckland with members Hanu De Jong, Josh Dillner, Kevin Jack, Will Kearney and Charlie Smith. Fire at Will have gotten a lot of radio play on The Rock and Radio Hauraki with their singles Rivers, Move, and Can’t Wait which has given them a solid start in the New Zealand rock scene.

Fresh from releasing their debut album ‘The Way Out’, Fire at Will have had a very busy year touring New Zealand supporting the album as well as playing along side a number of the countries top acts including I Am Giant, Supergroove, The Feelers and a number of dates on Blacklistt’s album tour, as well as supporting American rock icons Anberlin at their sold out Auckland show. The band also featured on the rock stage at this years Jim Beam Homegrown festival in Wellington. They have quickly earned themselves as a reputation a top live act.

Fire at Will deliver a huge and identifiable rock sound. Guitarist’s Josh and Kev and rhythm section Will and Charlie give a solid yet beautifully dynamic backing to the powerhouse that is, Hanu de Jong on vocals. It’s quickly obvious why he has received multiple awards and nominations (including a South African music award) for his work as front man for South African Rock Icons ‘The Narrow’ and ‘Not My Dog’.

The band are already well into writing material for the follow up to ‘The Way Out’ and have just recorded their new single ‘Bloody Arcade’ at Aucklands Roundhead Studios, mixed by Clint Murphy and mastered at New Yorks Sterling Studios.
