While it may be wrong to judge a book by it’s cover, it does happen. So when a petite blonde effortlessly hits notes one would assume had come from a certain type of singer - you know this act will turn heads and Brooke Duff has been doing this since she way yay high. It was while attending Church as a child she discovered her passion for music and began

singing with the choir and youth groups. Her love of singing was given a major boost when the family had relocated to Australia - her voice crossed paths with a musical director who gave her two lead roles for the musical theatre productions of ‘Patsi’ & ‘Peter Pan’.

Brooke isn’t an overnight sensation - she’s worked hard at her craft juggling that with the realities of being a musician in NZ. Having to juggle work and music to make it all work -

to prove she was serious about music she packed up her things and left her hometown of Christchurch for Auckland.

Over the last three years she’s been developing her song writing skills, live performances and finding ‘her sound’. In 2012 she released her debut single ‘Till The End’ which stormed

the airwaves and received critical acclaim. Debuting at #27 on the Official Top 40 (8 weeks in the charts) and Top 20 highest selling single of 2012. Top 10 All airplay on radio & No.1

NZ Airplay spending 27 weeks at radio. This was followed up with the singles ‘Say To You’ and ‘The Real You’ leading into the release of her debut EP Kaleidoscope which also achieved significant chart success.

Since then, she has been impressing everyone who crosses her path with what has become her signature, the huge voice that belts from her tiny frame. So where to next for Brooke you ask? Over the last year, she has been experimenting with a new sound and direction with the first single from her full length album coming soon in 2016.
