The new EP, produced by Andy Savours (Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, My Bloody Valentine) marks a confident and triumphant step forward for the young band, who look to build on the groundswell of wonderful support they’ve seen over the past 12 months.

Fusing together the best facets of the previous singles, the ‘Crown’ EP has the sound and feel of a band who have come of age, who are ready to step out in to the unknown, to take a risk, and to solidify their status as one of the UK’s most exciting prospects.

Since unveiling the title track from the EP a month ago, the track is approaching 200,000 plays on SoundCloud, with great early radio support.

Following a busy summer schedule of festival appearances, including main stage slots at Secret Garden Party, Truck, Underground Festival and more, the band ventured on a headline UK tour throughout October and early November, which included a packed-out show at the Camden Barfly.

The band have come a long way in the short space of time they’ve been together. Gaining support and praise from the likes of Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe at Radio 1, DIY Mag, The 405, Clash, BBC Introducing, Nylon and many more, and radio play in the US courtesy of KCRW.

With the release of the ‘Crown’ EP imminent, 2015 could see As Elephants Are really hit their stride.
